LABAN EVENT 2016 reached its fourth edition and returns to the place, to the spirit of the place, to the Genius Loci.
We will investigate a further Laban’s principle in its contemporary aspect concerning the phenomenology of dance, the body-place relationship, the communication between individuals, the geometry of dance with Living Architecture.
LABAN EVENT at Monte Verità - historical place of experimentation - offers to the professionals and non-professional moments of encounter and exchange around the different themes of the dance - educative, therapeutic, choreological, archeochoreological, philosophical, anthropological, performative. With the hope to embody and reinforce a philosophy of peace through the union with oneself and with others, with dance, for the dance.
