2016 dance and the spirit of the place “Genius Loci”
LABAN EVENT 2016 reached its fourth edition and returns to the place, to the body, to the human being, investigates another contemporary principle of Rudolf Laban concerning the phenomenology of dance, the body-environment relationship, the communication between individuals and the body which “is not only anatomical but a body that becomes the subject of the experience”. From the body that one has (Körper), to the body that one is (Leib).
